ALWAYS get the care you need after an auto accident. After an accident you expect your car to be repaired to the condition it was in prior to the accident don’t you? Shouldn’t you demand the same for your body?

Don’t settle your claim before you are 100 percent healed. Remember, once you settle your accident claim it will be impossible to have treatment covered no matter how much pain you are in.

We specialize in treating injuries due to auto accidents. We will work directly with your attorney and provide care on a lien basis. You will get the care you need now. Our office will be paid by the attorney when the case settles. If you need an attorney we can give you a list of reputable attorneys to choose from.

What happens in an auto accident?

During a car accident your body undergoes a rapid acceleration then deceleration which causes injury. Usually the greater the speed of the cars involved, the greater the potential injury. As your body jerks about during this process it damages and stretches the soft tissue (ligaments, cartilage and muscle) that hold the spine together and give it stability. The resulting injury is characterized by some or all of the following: Pain, spasm, stiffness, headache, tingling, numbness, weakness, and difficulty sleeping or finding a comfortable position, soreness, dizziness. Severe trauma can result in concussion, disc herniation or fracture.

A medical doctor may provide medication. This is helpful (if needed) at first to deal with pain, but will not help in the healing process.

To heal as quickly, fully and with as little pain as possible it is important to begin receiving chiropractic treatment immediately. The realignment process should begin immediately so normal range of motion is maintained and to minimize the possibility of adhesions which can cause a permanent loss of range of motion. Maintaining range of motion can also decrease pain.

A massage and stretching program is begun to decrease pain and spasm and promote healing of the cartilage and ligaments.

Physiotherapy in the form of heat, traction, massage and ultrasound is utilized to decrease pain and speed the healing process.

When appropriate, a strengthening program is utilized to help stabilize and strengthen the injured areas.

After a car accident, chiropractic treatment will minimize the possibility of chronic pain, headaches, stiffness or weakness in the injured areas.
